Traveller's Palm Trees at Hibrid Farm Bengkurong

Traveller's Palms are very reliable hardy trees that look like a 'fan' or 'garden rake' and are ideal for architectural landscaping features. Many examples can be found in Brunei like those used in hotels like the Lagoon pool side garden and landscape at the Empire & Country Club or upscale restaurants such as The Lotus in Rimba. These palms can be found healthy and full grown at our Hibrid Farm in Bengkurong at Simpang 254. Prices range from BND$250 to BND$350. (Price may vary subject to quantity & delivery charges).

Compostes & homemade composting

Work by Hibrid Staff involves clearing of dry debri made up of twigs & leaves & dried fruit & shells by blower machine and collected in large plastic rubbish bags then transferred to the Nursery in Kilanas. The they are placed in a mound of dead leaves and left for natural composting for many weeks until the entire subtance becomes dark in color. The composte final product will become fine and almost black in color, and then contained in small bags made ready for the sale shelf or for immediate use on the nursery plants.

Orchid Garden and more five petals in purple

Grown here at The Nursery & Garden Center, Hibrid's proud parent plant is the Orchid which started its mass production in the beginnings of the company's introduction to plant care and services. Other types of orchids are also still grown and sold at the nursery. Some special orders can be made tailoring to the customer's preferences ín arrangement of color ,height, size, age, or pot material.

Heliconia Paradise in Kilanas

Visitors are welcome to see all the types of wild plants at the Hibrid Garden Center in Kilanas enjoy the natural environment of the green house garden. These tall looking leaves are actually Heliconias and are ideal for 'privacy screens'on personal properties or ther sites alike and are very hadry and requires very little maintenance and are beautiful for architectural accents.

Hydrangeas a popular customer's favorite

(Photographed at Hibrid Garden Center Kilanas) These healthy Hydrandeas bloom well in the shed and moderate temperatures and can sometimes change colors to blue, pink, and purple. The smaller pots are sold at BND$18.00 (buyer collects) and some of the taller plants may go up as BND$26.00 depending on the age and overall size.

Growing wild orchids

An array of hardy plants ideal for all weather conditions area produced here and also for sale for visitors. With regular watering and shade these plants maintain their quality for the best types of conditions both indoor and outdoor. Much of the plants that are 'hired' on private and government offices are re-soiled here and replaced with new pots and trimmed overgrown roots and meristems are handle with extreme care.

Nursery and Garden Center in Kilanas

The Nursery and Garden Center of Hibrid Agriculture is based in Kilanas as main office and work center for all production of potted plants and wild types of fauna. It is open daily in the mornings until in the afternoon and visitors are welcome to see the variety of plant life on display and for sale.
